Introducing p3D.in

I introduce you to an online free 3D model viewer at p3D.in, it supports *.obj files and basic texture maps (diffuse, speculars and normals) you can register at the site and now gives you free 100MB of space.

This are my samples, it can embed in HTML too. Isn't that cool, show off your low poly models off to your client even online without downloading or installing plugins. It needs a HTML5/webGL web browser.

For Texturing test (my sci-fi panel from my past project) :

For Polygon test (my goatie bust)

For showing smooth curves (my PF's model cart)

For showing more polygons and wireframe mode (my mechanical heart)

Derpy Alien

The work I created while following a tutorial - Create a Super Happy Octopus and later noticed that I missed that teeth so instead of scrapping the work and do it again, I managed to create my own piece and the result is a derpy alien LOL...

Light Bulb Illustrator

No Blender experiements/works for this week because I'm learning new software (for others this is old for you) and this is required for most company in the field of printing business and for some company even they're not on printing business is also a plus. So I'm learning it and have fun with it and this additional knowledge might apply in Blender.

This is my second artwork from using Illustrator, I've been reading and following the steps of creating bulb from here - How to Create Vector Lightbulb Icon with Inkscape and yeah it is an Inkscape (a free open source software (FOSS) and alternative software for Illustrator) tutorial. For some of you reading this might run into a question "Isn't that difficult for a beginner like me understanding Illustrator?", yes it is difficult for me even though It is an from Inkscape the technique or the guide are in there you just have to discover your ways in creating one and yeah the bulb is looking great.

And Illustrator has it's missing features, like in Inkscape you can put gradient on strokes which is in Illustrator cannot you have to do it in other way to create similar technique.

Anyways, this is the result and this is not exactly the same as the tutorial's result though I acquired techniques and workflows for this work which is more important in understanding the software.

Stay tuned for more artworks...
Thanks.

Study Illustrator

For over the years I almost mastered Photoshop and uses it in many ways - photo manipulation, web/UI designs, graphic arts, vfx, digital painting, animation, storyboard sketching, texturing for 3D meshes, logo creation and flyers. Speaking of logo creation - Photoshop can't handle smooth vector formats and it is always has jagged edges and fairly disadvantage for creating smooth logo types.

Now, advising by my friend Sir Jhon Dave Baliton , that I will be using it because to there is a lot of advantage in using Illustrator and as well as job opportunities and used by many great artist. I am already left behind with these Illustrator kids because I was focused on 3D World and mainly I used Blender to render and experimental animations and renders. But now I'm back in learning Illustrator and eventually use FOSS (Free Open Source Software) and later will combine with Blender (yeah Blender does supports SVG formats).

This is what I've done from following the tutorial, just like in the old days of learning Photoshop. Sometimes you'd become stupid for a moment to follow a tutorial without taking notes and later realized the result of the image was small LOL... and this is my result:

and then I re-read the tutorial and almost got it,

and finally, due to still lack of experience in using the software - shortcuts and it's feature, I combine it with Photoshop...

Composite Study

This is my recent study in Blender composite nodes although I've done this many times but this time focusing on achieving desired compositing technique from Pixl'r O'Matic android application on my phone.

This is what I achieved using a photo from the app itself downloaded back from my phone to my computer.
